Writing T2 W5

Hi guys I am going to tell you what I did for My writing ( This blog came out 7 weeks late ).

Firstly we ( our group ) had to go to our workshop and find what we were doing and we had to write a story with the limit of 250-300 words I am going to show you what I did. I high lighted my favorite sentence I hope you like it.

Breaking news !!!

There has been an outbreak of a nuclear chemical, it has just reached the beach and gone into the water. We do not know what it will do at the moment, but let's hope if anything happens it's not bad. That’s what the news said that day. I would never forget a few hours later I heard sirens and screaming coming from outside, I thought to myself that what could it be ? so I called my best friends Ben and Michael and told them to come to my house. When they got to my house Ben said he saw this giant tentacle and thought what it could be ? we went to my car and drove down the road and started hearing the sound of gunshots, but we still went. We turned the radio on and it said there was a giant squid attacking the city! they were trying to find an antidote for it. We got out of the car and got the pistols that we always had in the back of the car in case of emergency, we also had pocket knives. We went to go help but then we started seeing tanks so we knew the army was there. We went to go help them then and we got stopped by the army they said to turn around so that's what we did, then suddenly the news turned back on the radio and said they had the antidote is ready anyone could pick it up from a pharmacy and could shoot it at the squid.luckily right then there was a pharmacy right next to us , so we got it and we put it in our pistols we snuck past the army and shot the squid then it started to get smaller and died.

Reading T2 W5

Hi I am going to tell you what I did for my reading this week ( this blog came out 7 weeks late ).

Hi today I am going to tell you what I have done for writing this week. Firstly we go to our home bases for the rest of the week because of cross country but I was in a different group thing so I didn't have to go to my home base. Suddenly a small vehicle came out of thin air and smashed into a tree. Out of the plane/vehicle came a tiny creature that looked like a human it pushed over it’s plane/vehicle and it broke. Mara looked like she wanted to help this tiny creature but first she took out her phone out of her pocket and took a photo.it made had a Flashing,blinding,glimmering look to it. Lucas looked really scared because Mara way taller than Lucas herself.

Hi today I am going to tell you what I did for reading this week. Firstly we had to go toe are workshop and find we had to do I wasn't at school for most of the week so I did most of the work at home. Math W11 T2

Hi today I am going to tell you what I did for my Math this week. since we had cross country this week we had to be in are home bases the whole week I wasn't at school for most of the week so I am just going to show you what I have done so far. This week we have been looking at 3D and 2D shapes and vertices and edges of shapes and all the other stuff related there was a must do that I finished on Monday on the must we had to sort the shapes I am going to show you it now.

Math T2 W10

Hi today I am going to tell you what I have done for my math this week. Firstly we had to go to are workshop I wasn't here on Monday so I didn't know what to do the next day I got a bit confused about what to do it turned out we were doing Place value and Reversibility since I was a bit confused I only had to do Place value. Then I started to do my D.L.O ( Digital Learning Object ) I rushed this because I had found winter sports trials were at lunch ( winter sport blogs are going to be coming soon ) I was in the last session but the teacher said I could go out and do my trials so I finished my math at home. I am going to show some of my math now.

Hello today I am going to tell you what I have done for reading. Firstly we had to find what we were doing at the workshop we had to pick one out of three books to try make a connection I picked one called once a panther this book was about the black lives matter. After we had finished reading the book we had to make a google drawing with at least 4 connections I am going to show you my one now

Writing T2 W10

HI today I am going to tell you what I have done for my writing this week. Firstly we had to go to our workshop and find out what were doing I wasn't at school on Monday so I didn't go to the workshop so on Tuesday I asked one of my friend's what we were doing we had to watch a video called piper and do a nine sentence story using three challenges we also had to pick one part of the story to write about. The challenges were.

• Complex sentence
• The sound of the waves
• Hyphen 

Those were the three challenges now I am going to show you my writing ( I have highlighted were I have used the challenges )  

Piper was fascinated looking at the tiny bug how it dug into the sand to prevent from the waves Pushing them back then all of a sudden a wave came out of no were.The wave was huge compared Piper,then Piper dug down into the ground and took the crashing wave Piper took a glimpse under the water she liked it under there then the wave went back and Piper started drying up again the wave that hit piper made whooshing noise Piper was amazed at this she wanted to do this more often and she thought if she did this more she would be able to catch here own food easily and she could stop having the fear of waves and when she did try find oyster’s to eat she could find the biggest ones.

This was my chunk after we had finished that we had to write anther chunk using the same challenges

Chch museum

on Monday the 16th of 2019 are school hub went to the Chch museum first we listened to the instructor's then we got into are home-base's and went to do the activates first are class number 2.
So next we walked to a small class room and learnt about what the dutch did when they arrived
then we went to have are lunch and play

then we went exploring around the museum the first place we headed to was the Antarctic place/animal there I got to see how tall I was to a variety of bear species they were really big then we got to go into like what look liked a polar bears cave/nest/house then we went up stairs our group really want'ed to see the dinosaurs when we got to the dinosaurs everyone want'ed to see the diplodocus but I told everyone there was no diplodocus Then when we were about to leave that room I found a diplodocus toy then we played with the dinosaurs then we played and ate again then we went to learn about Maori culture my favorite part so far was the allosaurus bones so far and then we had to leave this trip was kind of fun but I mostly liked it bye.

Hi guys Harry Today are school got lucky we got to meet the author of the wonky donkey Craig smith and he read all the books he made like willbee the bumblebee and my daddy ate an apple and of course the wonky donkey my favorite was the wonky donkey I have know that book for a long time and when he came to are school the wonky donkey was pretty popular at the time I hope you enjoyed this blog bye

Writing W8 T2

Hi today I am going to tell you what I did for Reading this week. Firstly we had to go on this template that the teacher had shared with us and write a plan on what are storie would be like we had to write it in 8 blocks after we had finished that we had to actually write a story using the elements from a planners here is one of my favorite sentences is, we had just landed on a deserted island the people walked of into the forest they got smaller and smaller every step they made, I hope you enjoyed bye.

Hello I am going to tell you what I have done for reading. Firstly we had to go check a link that the teachers had shared to us this took us to are google drives and some reading challenges I am going to show and talk about one of the ones I have picked. Reading T2 W9

This week are goal for writing has been =  Visualize using all of the senses, and talk about how this enriches meaning. Firstly we had to watch a video about how to use this goal the example was from the book the lion the witch and the wardrobe and the guy on the video was drawing Mr Tummnus he was reading a line from the book and try to draw what he thought Mr Tummnus looked like then we had to go of and do are own one of Harry Potter we also had to write some text boxes using the five senses. Writing T2 W9

This are goal for writing has been = use a range of written language features to engage the audience. Firstly we had to go to are workshop to find out what we were doing but first we had to watch a video called lost and found this video is about a dinosaur called Deano trying to save his friend a fox called Fifi from drowning in a bowl these creatures are only the size of teddy bears and are made out of wool. Then we had to write a chunk of the story to write some challenges I have high lighted were I have used them now I am going to show you mine this is mine, 

Chunk 8

Fifi had got out of the bowl of water and picked up the remains of Deano and was walking back to the tall table. Fifi started to climb up the big brown table this is hard, Fifi thought. She had just lost lots of energy from trying to get out of the bowl of water and the table was much taller than Fifi herself. Fifi kept on trying and trying and trying but couldn’t get up. After awhile Fifi took a break Fifi really wanted to get up for Deano Fifi tried some more and finally she got up she grabbed her sewing tools and started to make Deano back again she knew this would to take along time but it would be worth it and it was for deano as well and she knew when she had finished she would be happy.

this is what I have wrote for my first chunk then if you had finished that you had to write another chunk here is my other chunk.

Chunk 2   

After Deano had just finished waving to Fifi. Then Fifi threw a small rock in the bowl full of water it made a splashing,splashing,popping,noise then bamboo sticks full of water came crashing down on Fifi’s tell when Deono saw this he thought I have got to save Fifi Deano was shocked that Fifi had fell into this bowl full of water Fifi couldn't swim either Deano thought if he wanted to sacrifice himself to save Fifi he kept on thinking but Fifi was struggling then all of a sudden Fifi grabbed onto a bamboo stick that was going up she got on it then it came crashing,smashing,coming down into the water and Fifi Fell in again.
